S-A-S Community Project: Our Passion. . .
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

It's yet another beautiful morning on a beautiful day in the last week of the Month of February, 2008. Just like yesterday, the year is gradually rolling away. I'm thankful to God to be alive and to see myself working progressively in making my dreams come through. Last week was a bit hectic for me, as I needed to move from one place to the other getting my works done!. Wooops! I forgot to tell you this, that the S-A-S Project Team of the GKC Foundation has been working pretty hard for our forth-coming Community Development event. We've got alot of letters/proposal written to be served to our prospective sponsors/donors. Our budget isn't that high, but we believe that nothing is impossible to those that believe (isn't it?). The main programme has been fixed for the 5th of April, 2008 and our targets are the Street Kids, the Physically Challenged youths, Secondary School Students and the Remand Home. While Career Seminar for the Class 6 (SSS 3) Students only is on the 14th of March, 2008.

I'm sure this week would be alot busier, since we've got to re-visit our "clients" distribute more letters and make our requests known to others.

It is our prayer and utmost desire that this event would turn out successful and more lives positively touched.

". . . affecting lives positively is our passion and we are committed to helping the less privileged ones in the best and surest way we can".

Thank You.

Quotable Quotes
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

I love challenges and I get alot of these when I read the diaries of great thinkers. Men like Napoleon Hill, Thomas Edison, Dr Martin Lurther etc are people of like minds and I hope you'd enjoy these few quotes from them:

All achievements, all earned riches, have their beginning in an idea. - Napoleon Hill

I never did anything by accident, nor did any of my inventions come by accident; they came by work. - Thomas Edison

Excellence in any department can be attained only by the labor of a lifetime; it is not to be purchased at a lesser price. – Samuel Johnson

Next to doing the right thing, the most important thing is to let people know you are doing the right thing. – John D. Rockefeller

Shallom!

Oops! How Much I love these Young People.
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

I woke up this morning, giving glory to God for such a Wonderful opportunity to see yet another day!
It's an opportunity to rise up and pursue my dreams of yersterdays and make real my aspirations.

I remembered I got two appointments this morning before getting to the office, but as much as i tried my possible best I was only able to honour one and that was visiting the young people in one of the community Secondary Schools. As usual it was thrilling and delightsome experience. Oops! how much i love these young chaps. I had time to discuss with the School Academic Counselor and we compromised to coming up with Seminars for the Class 6 students.

I remembered the last time I visited this school was last year November! Hence my presence this morning on the assembly ground caused an outburst of excitement amongst them. They must have missed me just as much as I did. It's always my joy and desire to see young people getting fulfulled and successful in their chosen career. I look forward to raising a generation of purpose-driven youth in my community and nation at large. This is my dream, this is my joy.

Always stay tuned and don't forget to join me in making this commitment "Rendering a helping Hand" real. Kindly check it out here: http://commit.takingitglobal.org/273

Stay Blessed.
Tosin.
